Free Response Questions

  • Public Safety means being free to walk our community’s streets and not feel threatened by anyone in any way.

  • As a state legislator I feel that I need to listen to the experts in public safety and look at incorporating new ways to achieve improved results. And I feel that it is necessary right now for our police agencies to work very hard at establishing trust in the communities they serve.

  • I don’t know all of the ideas that are out there that would help the problem. But, I would be willing to listen to those ideas and fight for the good ones. I do feel that it is now up to our police agencies to work towards developing trust again from their communities. There have been too many wrongs committed and it’s now in the hands of our police force to make some serious amends to their community members.
