When any citizen can walk or drive in our communities without being detained or harassed by law enforcement or emboldened civilians. Where someone can call on law enforcement when needed with the confidence that an abuser will not be automatically believed and left free.
We need law enforcement accountability as state stated above. Our local law enforcement does not even acknowledge their propensity to detain people of color/women at a higher rate than white males. Outside analysis will help.

Continue the movement in Washington State to increase training and more professional mental health and social service training and support for law enforcement. Our law enforcement officers should be less equipped with military surplus equipment, and more educated in non-violent responses.
